After eight years of racing in Europe, I'm stepping off the road to find the joy again.

Hors piste is my first year of gravel, fondos, crits and bikepacking, ridden for pleasure and not for results. I'm a planner learning to turn around when the road is blocked, and I'll share all of it as it happens, the good days and the hard ones. I'm doing this for myself, and I hope it encourages others who are redefining themselves to try something new, even when it's scary, and to trust the process. It's built with the community I've grown in Alsace and the one back home in Canada, and it's the next chapter of a life I want to make viable here. Honest first-time reviews, from someone who knows the racing world and rides like everyone else.
